SUMMARY:Community Narcan & QPR Training Event
DESCRIPTION:On May 31st\, Brookfield CARES hosted two life-saving training events at the Brookfield Library: a Narcan training and a QPR (Question\, Persuade\, Refer) suicide prevention workshop.  We’re proud to share that 8 individuals became certified in administering Narcan and 9 participants completed the QPR training. \nThese sessions provided essential tools for overdose and suicide prevention while also sparking meaningful conversations and community connections. \nA special shout-out to WCTC and the Brookfield Library for partnering with us and allowing us the opportunity to reach and empower our community.  We are so grateful for your support in helping us make a difference!
